The picture is for reference only. The actual book is a hard cover beige book and IT is in MUCH better shape. It looked so new I could not believe that it was from 1961! This is a THE CHILDREN'S CLASSIC TREASURE ISLAND BOOK. IT IS 50 YEARS OLD! A great book and collectible!I carefully looked inside the book and I DID NOT SEE ANY RIPS, TEARS OR LOOSE PAGES ON THE INSIDE. THERE IS ALMOST NO WEAR TO THE COVERS. It is in great shape! It LOOKS NEW! IT IS in great shape.
